Objetivos
At the end of the CPE activity the pharmacist (P) and pharmacy technicians (PT) will be able to:
- Describe various glucose monitoring methods, including A1C testing, glucometers, and continuous glucose monitors (CGMs).
- List the essential components and features of CGMs.
- Identify key data provided by CGMs and its relevance to diabetes management.
- Explain the role of CGMs in improving clinical outcomes for patients with diabetes.
- Recognize the pharmacy team's role in educating, guiding, and supporting patients in the effective use of CGMs.
