1. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN PHARMACY PRACTICE: APPLICATIONS, BENEFITS, AND ETHICAL CONSIDERATIONS
Objetivos
At the end of the CPE activity the pharmacist (P) and pharmacy technicians (PT) will be able to:
- Correctly define the essential concepts and categories of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
- Discuss the impact of AI on healthcare and pharmacy practice.
- Describe at least two examples of AI use for personal purposes, education, pharmacy operations, or clinical practice.
- Identify laws, regulations, and ethics standards that apply to the use of AI, including APhA and ASHP statements.
- Recognize appropriate uses and limitations of AI in daily life and pharmacy practice.
